Greetings,
When I visited http://drupal.org/project/xmlsitemap, I wished to see it "in action" as there is nothing better than immediate visual feedback to tell me "is this what I want?"
Therefore, I clicked on "Try out a demonstration", which is linked at the bottom of this page.
Unfortunately, this (a) seems to be for the 5.x-2.x-dev branch, and (b) doesn't seem to work, e.g. when I create an account, the account creation fails, and I can't even get to the point where I see the module "in action".
Perhaps upgrade the demo site to the current version and make sure it works.
p.s. I typed in the keyword "demo" in the "issue search" for this module, and got nothing back that seemed to match my problem. I found that surprising...

dave reidI can get a 6.x-2.x demo up on sandbox.davereid.net for people to try. I also have the APIs and translation server for the 6.x-2.x version up on project.davereid.net.

jubalkessler commentedThank you very much for the update! I was able to log in and evaluate the sitemap module in its natural habitat.
Looks wonderful. I'll be using it.

avpadernoAs the Drupal 5 branch of the project is not supported anymore, I find useless to have a demo site for the Drupal 5 version.

dave reidWould it be fine if we changed it to http://sandbox.davereid.net/ then?

avpadernoI think it's perfectly fine; as long as the demo site is kept updated, and anybody can test the features offered from the project modules, I don't see any reasons to not change the demo site to http://sandbox.davereid.net/. It should be evidenced the project version used from the demo site; at least people would not post a report just to say "I installed the module, but I don't see the settings option I saw in the demo site".
