hey there,
it'd be nice to be able to generate a layout where one or more columns have a fixed width while others are liquid.
there's an example of a website I built: http://bob-aurya.com where I used this technique with the help from a friend of mine.
wht do you think? feasible?
cheers,
Luciano

Garrett Albright commentedI'm only seeing one liquid-width column in the site you linked to. But anyway, at least for now, I think I'll keep Zenophile fairly simple and restrict it to creating layouts with static sidebars as per Zen default. Thanks for trying Zenophile, though.

luco commentedthat's what I said: "a layout where one or more columns have a fixed width while others are liquid."
meaning there would be a way to generate any number of fixed OR liquid columns combined.
but nevermind - this isn't going to be addressed, like you said.

Garrett Albright commentedWell, when you create a liquid layout you're essentially creating a layout with zero, one or two fixed-width columns (the sidebars, depending on which ones you put blocks into) and one liquid column. A layout like the one you're linking to - one fixed column, one liquid column - would be easy to do with Zenophile as it is now.

luco commentedgosh. do I feel dumb. LOL
but you're right: the customisation needed was due to my using Panels. duh.
