The list of required modules, both in the project page and in the documentation, leaves out transliteration, imageapi, imageapi_gd, imagecache, imagecache_ui, imagefield, and views_slideshow. Also, it would be helpful to put these lists in alphabetical order since they are quite long. Thanks!

Thanks for catching that. This will be fixed in 6.x-1.11. Although imageapi_gd and imagecache_ui are used by the profile, I'm leaving them out of the dependency list because you don't need to install them separately; they come with imageapi and imagaecache, respectively. But the others will certainly be included.
