Description

Hi, Just to remark this as seperate issue from: http://drupal.org/node/379748#comment-1765554

Out of curiosity, since Summit also posted a similar request to the Web Links queue, why can the Twitter module not correctly handle a standard node creation mechanism (node/add/mytype)?

Greetings,
Martijn

I don't understand this request-- you can apply twitter to different content types, so you can make your own 'status' content type that just has a title, say, and node/add/status

What am I missing?

Try using the twitter module on weblinks nodetype (www.drupal.org/project/weblinks), it will not work. The box to post to twitter will not show. While according to the maintainer of weblinks nodetype that type is build with using standard node creation mechanism.

If you look at the issue Martijn referenced, apparently this is not just weblinks content, but anything that uses standard node/add/type-name rather than drupal_execute().
