So I've completed the Amazon module + Views tutorial in Chapter 4 of Orielly's Using Drupal book and I now have a nifty list of recommended music titles on my page > www.musicalmissionary.com/support

Then I go on to set up an exposed search filter in the view and it shows up when I preview the view on the Edit View page but it doesn't show up on the page where I set the view block to appear. Why is the exposed search field appearing in my preview but not on the actual page?

Really... nobody has a clue why my exposed filter shows up in the preview but not on the page the block is included in....??

You have enabled the block with the exposed filter? It is a different block from the one the view is included in.
