I followed this tutorial in setting up my calendar: http://www.drupaltherapy.com/node/76 My events showed up in a calendar layout just like the tutorial.

But now I don't know how to add the calendar to my site? I deally I would like it to display on its own page (I created a page "Calendar" and it appears in my primary links.)

I tried going to Blocks and adding the "Calendar Legend" to the right hand side, but nothing happened.
I tried Blocks>Content and putting in the path to have it only display on the page I created, but nothing.

Did I miss a step somewhere?

don't create a page.

check your links in administer -> menus for a calendar link
or using primary menus, point to the path where the already existing calendar is located.

The path and menu settings for a calendar are handled in the calendar view itself (page settings for "calendar page" display).
If you want a different path you can change it.
You can make the menu link for your calendar a primary link or move it to any other menu.
