dmitrig01 and quicksketch, I'd love to help co-maintain Vertical Tabs with the occasional patch and D7 backports. I think helping spread this module's usefulness throughout contrib will be a valuable addition. Let me know if I can help!

Sounds good to me, I'd love to have another developer helping with the project. Dmitri basically made the module as a "proof of concept", so I don't think he'll mind.
Basically the only rule of development is this: Don't make any changes D7 doesn't have in the core versions without porting it to D7 (first!) D7 has more functionality than our version right now, so any features that are similar to D7 should try to imitate D7 as best as possible.
