Drupal 6 Update?

Description
Are there any plans to fix this issue http://drupal.org/node/433668 and allow users to install Drupal 6 directly from your AMI without needing to go install and update Drupal 5? It would be really helpful if you could.
Also it would be great to include CVS and SVN installed in this AMI as they will assist greatly in updating drupal, installing modules and external packages.
Thanks for your contributions so far, I am sure when I finally get this working it will be worth it :)
