Theme Generator module

I'm very interested in trying out the theme generator module as I have an existing website (other than the current Drupal one I'm developing) that I would like to convert to drupal.

To test I saved a CSS templat, 3 column fixed, and uploaded it with the theme generator. I received an error that said "No regions found to generate".

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I don't see a tutorial, manual, etc. unless I overlooked it. Can anyone help?

That module is still in dev, not sure how well it works. Never tested it.

Regions are defined in the .info file. I suggest looking at an already completed theme to better understand. Also looking up in the theme developers guide in this case can't hurt either.

regions are where blocks are placed and such.

Building themes

Thank you. You have been very helpful answering all of my posts!

I would like to take a stab at converting my CSS Dreamweaver site to Drupal myself. Can you recommend a tutorial? Or do you recommend finding a theme that closely matches mine and tweak it, or build one from scratch?

Thanks!

first time around I reccomend finding one with a similar layout as yours and tweaking it until you become more fluent in the way drupal does things at the theme level.
