Would be a nice feature. Unfortunately, It lands not very high on my priority list right now - it may take me a while to get to that.

If anybody wants to help out - submit a patch, I will review and make a new release.

Filefield already offers those features (upload preview, mime icons) and offers very easy ways to add the rest (showing files in gallery per views). So I don't think it makes sense to go into that direction.

I interpreted original feature request from mitchell as one to apply nice formatting done by hunvreus, streamlined single-button upload, etc. to filefield. The icons and previews came to iTweak Upload later in 2.0 release. But I agree with scroogie here - duplicating existing features does not make much sense. I will put that into won't do list, so nobody's hopes would be shattered. If anyone submits a patch, I will review and commit - just reopen this issue.
