I have a 5.x drupal installation that I am attempting to integrate gmap and gmap location with events. I can get the gmap and location configured so I can put locations in an event. I have created a location block to display the resulting map. However, when I click on the event node I get a Google map link, but the map does not display.

I tried similar method using the date and calendar modules and the content block displays like I want. I just can't seem to get it to work using the event module.

Has anyone gotten this to work? I have been going round and round on this all weekend and am back at my starting point.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
