Presumably, with multiple sites getting on the revenue sharing bandwagon, it may be possible for a prolific, creative author to write on a variety of topics, for multiple sites.

With that in mind, how about this: In addition to the AdSense ID, have a user setting specifying what channel should be used when the writer's node is being displayed with THEIR AdSense ID (this would not, then, affect channels for the site owner).

This way an author would be able to track which site was showing their material. Yes, this could probably also be done with URL channels. But the less author hand-holding explaining how to adjust settings in their Google account, the better. Plus it's just another nice, thoughtful option, even for the tech-savvy authors.

Side note: Would there be merit to having a "matchmaking" database where authors with AdSense accounts might meet up with site owners? Is there such an animal someplace I have not discovered?

Back to won't fix, as this is too much trouble to update the old code and is handled by Google's new interface in the new code ads.
