integrating with imagepicker

I am the maintainer of the imagepicker module and I'm considering integrating imagecache. Can anyone give me some pointers, not sure where to start right now ;-(
FYI Imagepicker is *not* a node module so I may or may not be barking up the wrong tree here, any help would be much appreciated.
