Not working

Hello,
I have installed the module and assigned permissions to admin users. I have accessed the settings page of the module and and I did not change anything because the first option was already checked.
I tried it in a 5.8 and 5.17 versions, with no changes. The request new password tab is displayed in /user page. I don't see any related issue, so I figure out that I'm missing some settings. If you can give any hint I will be very thankful, we work with LDAP and therefore we need to remove this option.
