Hi.
To fix the IE8 problem, add the following line to css file:

#shadowbox_title, #shadowbox_info {
  border: 0px solid;
}

IE8 gets border-top-width and border-bottom-width as medium if it is not set.

You might want to be a bit more specific with this issue, I have an IE 8 issue, but this fix doesn't appear to be related. Maybe describe what the issue is.
