I can no longer get the cookies to set when the visitor comes to my site: http://www.esplanner.com/affiliate/basic

Could someone give me a suggestion about how to troubleshoot?

OK. I figured this out with the generous help of Bojan. (thanks!)

We had installed Post Affiliate Pro and this happened to include a directory called /affiliate

This directory was interfering with everything. Rename that directory and it is fixed.
