Hello,
I'm looking for a, good and easy to use, NewsTicker. I just want a title, some text and a link to url and mail. I tried "Ticketyboo"; it looks OK for me but I can't figure out to make it work with "Scheduler". It would be great to give a start and end date when entering a news, so that we don't have to delete older news manually. Maybe I should use another module?

I haven't tried it, but I would think if you use the views_ticker module, you should be able to filter out 'expired' node news items.

views_ticker looks great but I don't think there is a version for Drupal 6
