Cannot reach child menu

This theme looks great. Its a bit too red, but I'm sure I will get used to that.

When I go to the Administer Menu and try to hover my mouse from the dropdown menu to the child menu (ex: child menu of Site Configuration - see attached image), the menu dropdown disappears.
