I am trying to integrate phpbb3 with Drupal with lunarpages hosting. Is this possible? I checked this video out, http://a8.video.blip.tv/1220000331669/Add1sun-ApplyingPatchesToCoreDrupa... and this link: http://drupal.org/node/60108

But both are installing on a local server. Is there any way to use a patch on lunarpages?

patch the files on your local machine then upload them to your sever.

So, I will need to download edit and upload the affected files each time I use a patch?

download? not really .... if you have a copy of your files, on your local machine? you can skip the download part.

Keep in mind that many, develop on their local machine and not directly on a server.

I don't think you get SSH access on Lunarpages server under shared hosting.

It's generally good practice to apply patches to development site. Only once you feel the patch works successfully then apply it to your production site.
