I am not sure what is going on,

I am setting up my forums, but I notice that you post and there is nothing there. I went and added some vocabulary and stuff, set it to forum and made it required, but the post never shows up. I am using a CIVICSPACE install, can someone tell me what I need to do to get this all working again?

Make sure the Comment module is enabled. This is an undocumented requirement.

Thanks, I also had the Comments module off, actiating it fixed my problem.

With the other obvious module and permissions set added forum entries would be tallied as: -1 new messages and not display.

The comment mod is on and has been, I am not sure but when you go in and write somthing on the board, nothing is done.. When I go and create new message boards, nothing is done in the taxo area, I thought that there was somewhat of a mirror there under "Forums"

You may need to reassociate the forum with an appropriate vocabulary.

The comments #5 & #6 in http://drupal.org/node/26583 are of interest I think.
