I was just today trying to show off the video.module but everybody had mac laptops and it wouldn't play the video. So I saw on the participatory culture webpage a link to a program that adds .wmv support to quicktime. I figured it might be something to include as a disclaimer for people having problems viewing the site.
Check it out at http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm

Microsoft has dropped windows media player for OS/X so users will have to eventually install those free quicktime wmv plug-ins to play .wmv files.

we probably should put a check in to see if the OS is a Mac and put the link to the flip file as it works very nicely with Safari.

or just stop using that horrible WMV and use only the flashplugin, which is deployed on more than 95% of all personal computers.
