Hey all,
We are considering moving our site to Drupal and would need help with creating the themes to match the existing site. To my knowledge it would be an exact port of the site. There may be a small amount of drupal management necessary and suggestions on additional modules etc are always welcome.
This is not a full request for proposal, but I am looking to get a rough idea what sort of price range this may run. We still need talk to all of the involved parties to verify any changes, apps etc before we can put out a detailed RFP.
One other consideration is that I would like to be involved / trained / shown how you created the themes to be able to further extend them.
This may not start of a month or two, so in the mean time I am trying to get an idea what sort of budget is necessary. Not going to hold anyone to these numbers, just sort of a gut feeling. To keep the numbers from being skewed, PM me a rough range and in a week I'll post the just the numbers w/o names for the curious among you.
We are not considering specific companies at this time but trying to determine a reasonable budget while we formalize our requirements.
There are a few different layouts within the site, and while this is a representative sample of the site it may not cover everything. As much of this was done via css, it may not require a separate theme for each area, but thats where your expertise comes in.

If you can spare a few minutes and give this a once over I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

Bit late, but for those who were interested...
So I got more replies then I was expecting so thank you all for spending the time to write me. I won't give out the specific numbers I got but in general there were the following
Some inexpensive guesses - say $400-700
Some moderate guesses - in the $4,000 - $6,000 range
and one very expensive (over 20k), but I either I mis-read the email or they were going on a much larger scope.
So with the help you've given me I'm getting back to the people with the purse strings to let them know what theming our site in Drupal may run. We had a conference call with an IBM rep last week to go look at their WCM platform so we haven't yet chosen Drupal which is why I said it may be awhile before we get a real RFP together. I'm still pushing in the direction of the big D tho!
Thanks again!
