aggregator error!!!!

hi everybody,
i was attending to make news managent system:
so i downloaded the module "news_page-6.x-1.0-rc1.tar.gz" and here is the steps that i made:--
1)Administrator->feed aggregator->add category->add fill the title "aggregator1" and Discreption"aggregator test1"

2)Add feed->title(yahoo),URL(http://www.yahoo.com),Categorize news items: check to the"aggregator1"

3) go to create content->News Page->create a new page and file the textboxes as the following:
title:page 1
Menu link title:news test
Body:hello news page
input formate: Full HTML (as in the read me for the module)
Aggregator Category: select the aggregator 1
Include Words: ipod, -shuffle (as an example)

4) save

5)Administraor->feed aggregator->update items (yahoo).....i found this error

"The feed from yahoo seems to be broken, because of error "XML_ERR_NAME_REQUIRED" on line 1.
The feed from yahoo seems to be broken, because of error "302 feed not parseable"."

and when i log out to test the news page it doesnot appeare as alink which supposed to direct me to yahoo.

i donot know why and how i can fix that

www.yahoo.com is not a feed

It is a web page, not a feed. Feed Aggregator takes feeds, like rss.slashdot.org/Slasdot/slasdot and parses them. It gets confused when you just give it a normal web page, hence the error.

Hi Amira,

Feed aggregator only support URL path from sites those provides the RSS format.
Like:
http://news.google.co.in/news?pz=1&ned=in&hl=en&topic=h&num=3&output=rss
this links for google news.

Go to the links u want to add..check for RSS option, then copy that links and it will work fine.

It says,

The feed from test seems to be broken, because of error "not well-formed (invalid token)" on line 14.

This only seems to be happening with Google News RSS feeds, others work fine but I really want to use google. Any suggestions?
