I installed the domain access module so i could set up subdomains and use the same database to manage them all. The problem I'm having is exactly how to set up the subdomains. (right now when I try to load one of the subdomains in a browser it gives me a server not found error.
I already entered the subdomains in domain access but what else do I have to do?
- Do I need to create folders for the subdomains in the sites folder, even if I'm using the deafult settings.php for all of them?
- Do I have to modify DNS information for the main server/create the subdomains through the control panel for my site?
(In the DNS zone file for the main site, there's a rule for *.site.com to redirect to site.com. now this works fine with any subdomain I specify unless it's one that's listed in domain access.)
