I know that you are really busy and this module is not a priority, but on the off chance that you get a spare moment or someone else needs this, I wanted to suggest that there be a residential/commercial checkbox of some kind. It would be very useful to know whether we are shipping to a residence or business place, and I can think of no better place to put it then in the saved address space. That's not to say that anything can be done with it just yet, but I think it would be useful.

Also, if this module makes it into UC3 core, this feature should definitely be there.

You could simply ask your customers to specify such in the address name field. This could be handy though.

This feature request has been marked postponed, which is my way of saying that it probably won't get included in the foreseeable future, but that it has some merit and shouldn't be discarded.

You can add extra fields to addresses with Extra Fields Pane. The module does not fully integrate with Ubercart Addresses yet, but it will soon. The code in the experimental branch of that module supports already full integration with Ubercart Addresses 6.x-2.x.
