Using http://drupal.org/project/parser_csv (in combination with feedapi and feedapi_mapper) and http://drupal.org/project/node_import.
Seems a lot of the functionality is still not there yet (all due respect to the maintainers for great modules) and trying to find patches among issue queues is pretty frustrating.
Has anyone been able to import location cck or phone cck fields into nodes? If you've found working patches or alternative methods, please post them here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
