It would be really cool if the twitter action would allow for posting to users own twitter account. It appears to me that currently the action can only be set up to post to a given account.
This could become a very powerful viral feature.
thanks

satikusala commentedActually, the Twitter module does support this, see http://tips.webdesign10.com/drupal/drupals-twitter-module-test-337.html. You have to set the user role permissions so that the user can setup their twitter accounts. The in the user account the user can select Edit and add their twitter account(s). Each time the user posts content it will trigger a post to Twitter.
This is a good module, however, for hyper content producers, or admins, I'd prefer to allow the user to selectively send content to their twitter account, not have all the content they post sent. Does anyone agree?

shunshifu commentedActually yes i see that they can post to their twitter account when posting a node. However what I was trying to do is a little different. I was trying to setup a situation when a user viewed a given node it would post that they had done so to their twitter account. I thought I could do this using triggers but the twitter trigger only allows a sitewide account.
It's probably not something that would be useful for many sites. For mine it is. The site is an exercise at your desk application
www.breakpal.com
When users view the exercises I want them to be able to tweet that they did so.
Thanks
Phil
