Hi
I have developed my website locally using WAMP on windows vista, and drupal 6.12, I have also used some modules like webforms ,CCK and views for developent. Can some body tell me if I will also need to have all of the above(WAMP, Drupal, 6.12, drupal modules) installed on the Hosting server?
A friend of mine is ready to host my site on his server, which doesnt have WAMP or Drupal installed. He has MySql, Apache, PHP available on his server . Can I host my site on his hosting server?
Thanks

Yep what your friend has is
Yep what your friend has is all you need. You do not need WAMP for a real/live server (WAMP is just a pre-packaged copy of Apache, MySQL, and PHP made to work on Windows). You should import your copy of your site's database into a MySQL database on your friend's server, and also put your files (Drupal and any other files/themes you added) in place in your site's FTP directory. An easy way to get a copy of your database out of WAMP is to use the Backup and Migrate module.
