I love this module. It is simple and handy, but it does not work well on my site.
It acts very very strange in my website. I can not fully view the teasers, title and photos. It does not suit in the module frame and text and images overflow out of the module. Why does it act like that? Is it because of the module? Or are there any extra settings other than written in the original read me file. It seems to me like that.
I dont use the original garland theme and the site is active.

raskolt commentedI found the way. There are custom css files to control the slideshow. You can find them in the folder named skins inside the views_showcase. There are two css files; left amd right. Edit it according to the selection of the views you created. There were two optins for you in the views if you installed it. And you know what I mean.
This issue was not documented in the read me so I wrote it in here.

wheatbix commentedI would like to confirm this problem.
Yes I had to resize all of the CSS fields in order to achieve what I wanted, but this should not mean that the module does not work as expected when installed initially.
It would be nice to have an initial install profile that works so you can test it out immediately and see if it is what you want to use.

rfsbsbIndeed this is a issue. I'll rewrite all CSS of this module to be more compatible with all situations and browsers. Thanks for your help.

rpatros commentedFirst of all I like what this module offer due to it's simplicity and workability. I do have a similar issue where IE browser behaves strange where the teaser view overflows which kinda breaks the whole layout. I initialy modified the dimension in the right and left css skin and I was having issue so I restored the original css files and restore my image cache settings to the 340x200 size but still not working with the original.
I hope that the next version will be more browser compatible. Thank you for the great work.

mikejonesok commentedKind of the same issue. But it seems like it only does it when the first word have a .com or .org in it. For ex. "Drupal.org Is Full of Awesome Nerds" will break into two lines when it should only be one with ...

asb commentedSimilar problem with a vanilla skins/right.css in Firefox 3.6 und Opera 10.51.
I'm not using Imagefield/Imagecache but Image module with scaled down derivates, but not exactly 340x200px. Sounds like lots of fun to fix the CSS for this setup ;)
