Hello,
i already posted an s.o.s on the forum, but maybe writing here i can get a quicker/more accurate answer:
i installed the GMap repository module on a brand new Drupal 4.7b4 install placed on the subdirectory 'drupal' of my root site (www.kiteatlas.com/drupal), still i can't manage to make the map work..
I registered on the Google API Key page and tryed in the module settings with all the possible imaginable domain names (kiteatlas.com, www.kiteatlas.com, www.kiteatlas.com/drupal), but i keep getting that nasty pop-up saying the key is registered for the wrong site....
If anybody had same issue, please help...i spent all the morning but don't seem to succeed in this.
Already had a look at this forum post http://drupal.org/node/26459 but with no luck
Thanks

webgeer commentedUnfortunately I won't be able to look into this until I get back from vacation next week sometime.
However, it should be noted that contrary to what it says in the documentation the site http://www.webgeer.com/gmapdemo can be accessed as: http://www.webgeer.com/node/17 or http://webgeer.com/node/17 or http://webgeer.com/?q=node/17 so it shouldn't be that picky on what you use for your domain.
I believe I just registered it for webgeer.com

marcoBauli commentedwell, weird thing...almost freaking out decided just reinstalled a fresh 4.7b4 and setted everything as was before (same template, same everything), and now works...my newbyeishness can't help in explain why, but it works now, so go ahead :]
thx, ciao
