Haven't tried this out yet, but just wanted to say that it sounds very cool! For those of you thinking that you have no use for this module -- because hey, who uses brightkite or mapme.at anyway -- the mapme.at blog just made an announcement...
Turns out that they can get their data from Google's new Public Location Badge JSON feed, allowing them to access Google Latitude info! Huzzah! Yeah, sure it's not in the slightest bit private, but the Public Location Badge setup allows you to restrict your location to city-level, and even send you reminder emails at regular intervals while activates, so that you don't forget it's turned on.
So yeah, even though I haven't installed this yet, I can see it becoming VERY useful! Great module geodaniel!
