Issue Summary

There seems to be some buzz in the addthis forums about ways to integrate the button with Google Analytics, which might be more convenient than AddThis' tracking system.

Seems this dude is onto something that might be useful to this module...

Not sure whether this belongs in the Google Analytics module issue queue or what, but I thought I'd toss it out there.

Cheers!

Thanks for the tip. I will keep an eye on this and see if it would be something that could be integrated to this module in the future.

There's a setting in the AddThis API to send widget click data to Google Analytics. It needs a little custom javascript for the implementation at the moment, because the setting needs to reference the Google Analytics javascript object directly. Assigning to myself as a reminder to look at this issue, but input/patches are welcome.

I committed what should be a correct implementation of this feature when the Google Analytics module is being used. If the GA code is placed directly in the page template, it needs to be go before $closure. This should be documented in the README.txt.

By the way, this is also completely untested with an actual working Google Analytics profile. If anyone finds that it isn't working and is reading this, please file a new issue so we can keep this documentation task separate.
