Relationship node access possibly not working with Domain Access module

We set up a quick dev area and installed the User Relationships module and everything is working fine. I've granted authorized users permission to post to social network. I set up two relationships, friends (mutual) and followers (one-way). When a user creates a piece of content, they can specify who to show it to and all is well.

Then, we set up our main dev environment which uses the Domain Access module. Here, content created by authorized users is posted only to one domain. I have set up the User Relationships module with the same settings as the quick dev area, but now the desire to show content only to friends is being ignored. When a user creates content, they still see the check boxes to post only to friends/followers, but no matter what choice is made, the content shows up for everyone, not just the friends/followers.

I'm wondering if there is some sort of conflict between the User Relationships module and the Domain Access module since this is the only difference I can see between the two sites. Has anyone else experienced this?
