Include "Not In Sitemap" as priority option

Hi Dave. I sent this in an email. Just wanted to submit as a formal feature request:

One feature I liked in the 1.x version was the ability to specify "Not in Sitemap" as a priority. This is different than completely excluding a content type. For example, some people may only want to include certain nodes from a content type in the sitemap. In this scenario, I would have "Include in Sitemap" checked for the content type. I would then select "Not in Sitemap" for the default priority. For each node I wanted to include, I would specify priority specifically for that node. This cuts down on the size of the sitemap considerably and only the nodes I want to emphasize are included. Would it be possible to add this in the 2.x version?
