Lineage

Hi,

For this module, I’m trying to assign a term to a node that may have multiple terms. This is what I currently have: a node that compares two different products. The products are digital cameras. One is a Samsung, the other is a Sony. The product in primary reference is the Samsung camera but we’re only writing about the Sony to use the Sony as a frame of reference. Hence, the Samsung should be the primary term but we cannot ignore the Sony altogether because that is a proper noun and should be included so that users can find the Sony camera also in the taxonomy lineage. The lineage I have for both products is Electronics > Cameras > Digital Cameras > Samsung > SL 30 (for the Samsung) and Electronics > Cameras > Digital Cameras > Sony > VCS 420 (for the Sony). When a user reads this node, he can either get the Samsung lineage in the breadcrumbs or the Sony breadcrumb lineage in the breadcrumbs. Since the main issue here is to discuss the Samsung, the Samsung lineage should show in the breadcrumbs. However, when I assigned the primary term to the Samsung, it showed the breadcrumb lineage for the Sony—not desirable. Is this module supposed to fix problems like this or was it intended to do something else? If this module was built to do something like this, can you tell me why it’s not working the way I think it ought to work? Thank you very much.
