How about integrating with Triggers so that I could send an email on some bit being toggled?

I think the event should really be triggered by the action itself regardless of whether Fasttoggle is involved, on the basis of the change itself.

I'm willing to discuss the issue more but will close it for now as it's very old. Please feel free to reopen if you'd like to talk more.
