This preview is highly annoying on g.d.o and I'd like to disable it.

Is the "Loading..." bar more annoying? (I always wanted to remove it.) :P

For me everything the module does is annoying. The extra http requests that it does tend to freeze FF temporarily. I can't even see the preview since my screen is mostly 14" and the preview area does not show up.
