I would be curious to learn more about your site. What were the main challenges getting your site onto Drupal. Did you build some custom modules, or did the contributed modules fit your bill.
You mentioned the site has +10k registered users, so I guess the site has been active some years. How long had the site been active, and what did you use to build the site initially.

I love everything about your

Would you be so kind to list the modules you used on this site? Great job.

Modules installed

RAFA3L - July 23, 2009 - 13:28

Thanks for the words, this is a list of the modules. With a bit of more time I hope explain in more detail the use of all.

The site was done previously using Drupal 5, VBulletin and Photopost. Now all was migrated to Drupal 6.

RAFA3L - July 24, 2009 - 03:52

Yes, why?

How long did it take you to get 10k register users

How long did it take you to get 10k register users?
What would you consider your skill level before you started?

took about 1 year

RAFA3L - August 4, 2009 - 02:47

Took about 1 year.

Is my first project using Drupal and now I love it.

Pretty good. Nice looking

dman - August 1, 2009 - 02:53

Pretty good. Nice looking ladies indeed.
Looks like there's a problem with your imagecache profile used in the galleries. galeria_big is not resolving right.

OK: http://www.ninfaz.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/galeria_mid/gals_th...
Broken: http://www.ninfaz.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/galeria_big/gals_th...

In my experience, that's usually php memory unable to process large images - especially if using the transparency option of imagecache watermark. ... Oh, I see you are using http://drupal.org/project/imagecache_effects (not my imagecache_actions) so there may be a PHP5 problem on your actual server, as documented.

how you found the broken imagecahe?

RAFA3L - August 4, 2009 - 03:09

Thanks dman,

I don't know how you got the path /files/imagecache/galeria_big/gals_thumb/. For now I can't see the real use of this path, maybe was created in some test using pathauto, transliterarion and filefield paths. I had several problems setting these, but now I think all work fine.

You found the broken imagecache in some problem when navigate the site? I can't see where the imagecache doesn't work.

It was clicking in to one

dman - August 4, 2009 - 03:16

It was clicking in to one (several) of the 'galleries'.

The lead image for the gallery was coming up broken.
Looks OK now though.
Maybe the images just needed rebuilding, and tweaking the imagecache settings flushed the cache.

Weird, is the first time I

RAFA3L - August 4, 2009 - 03:41

Weird, is the first time I hear about this and I don't know how this path was called, this are all the paths of the images in the galleries:

http://www.ninfaz.com/galerias use:
sites/default/files/imagecache/galeria_mid/gals_thumb/

the galleries thumbs use:
sites/default/files/imagecache/galeria_thumb/gals_big/

the big image use:
sites/default/files/imagecache/galeria_big/gals_big/

the thumb in the home use:
sites/default/files/imagecache/galeria_thumb/gals_thumb/

I'll take a look more closely at your imagecache actions. Maybe I did test it before and for some reason I decide to use imagecache effects.

Very distracting

voipfc - August 16, 2009 - 07:59

I need to subscribe to your site, very distracting!!
