Im not sure if this is an issue or a limitation of openid.

here is my problem:
i have mysite.com (my servers main domain)
and say test.mysite.com (on my server)
and anothersite.net (on my server)

i cant have mysite.com be the provider and log into test.mysite.com or anothersite.net though i can log into other servers i dont own.
but if i have the provider on test.mysite.com then mysite.com and anothersite.net are fine along with all other third-party servers.

Ideas?

I would prefer to have mysite.com as the provider so all company information and such is kept in one location.

that should work just fine... perhaps you have a cookie_domain issue? need more info...
