I have both versions
I have both versions on my local machine. 4.7 is great for learning and testing new features.
Update: Now that 4.7 is out of beta and that 4.7.1 (maintenance release) is planned to be released next week I'll be in the process of updating to 4.7, the biggest challenge on one of my sites is to move from 'flexinode' to 'cck', but without any doubts this release has a lot of improvements especially regarding performance.
