This page is a bit of a mess... for one thing all those CVS commands can be consolidated on one line by specifying the password in the -d string. There might be other optimizations/improvements as well.

A lot of new developers get pointed to this page, so it would be very cool if it read a bit better and was checked over for mistakes.
