I am getting some strange chars appearing in place of things like apostrophes, dashes etc which are producing weird feed results. The feeds seem to produce a question mark (?) in place of these chars, making words like "Here's" appear as "Here?s"

... – ...’.... O’... – a new .....

These are the chars that are interspersed between my content. This is directly from my DB. The dots, BTW, just replace normal text..

If anyone could help, it would be appreciated.

I can't actually help on where they come from but i can confirm since we moved to mysql 5 we have seen them in exisitng content. I'm editing them out now but god knows where they came from.
