I use it on the majority of my sites because it's simple and it does its job well and I wouldn't want to stray from that purpose. I'd like to help weed through the issue queue and get the module ready to port to Drupal 7 when the time is ready as well.

dave reidNo problem. My immediate focus would be going through the issue queue and committing a few fixes that are tested or I will test. A few of the main ones:
#316080: Failed opening required 'sites/all/modules/commentrss/system.admin.inc'
#356031: crss feed included too early in <head>
#318467: Error in query for pgsql
#513492: Relative URL in description (link to original post)
After going through all the current issues I'd like to push out a new release. Then I'd like to write a small but complete testing suite for the module. After that is complete I'd like to begin porting the module to Drupal 7. I'd love to be able to pledge this module as a part of D7CX.
