Glossary module tool tip ONLY...

in Drupal 6, how would I make the glossary module just show the tool tip when the mouse is hovering. I do not want it to go to a glossary node - I do not want the term to be a link. If this is too tricky (newbie here) is there a way to get JUST the glossary description to show up on the node, without the text from the page I came from showing up under the glossary description? I have NOTHING checked in the glossary settings at all except the radio button next to (show only the term) - this is required.
