Faceted search with two views

Hello,

I want to show a table and a gmap view on one page.

I already did similar to embed a view in the header/footer, but then I
could provide arguments.

In this case faceted search gives the environment to the chosen view and
I cannot imagine, how could I catch it to use in the embedded view in
header/footer.

As I read faceted search works with embedded views too.

Could anybody give me some help?
