Hi all,

I have done all the steps for a successful upgrade from my 6.9 to 6.13 but it's just not working. The update page doesn't find anything to update and there are no errors.
The modules updates run without any problem.

My server is a Shared Linux Hostgator:
MySQL database 5.1.30
PHP 5.2.9

Thanks in advance

How do you know it's not working?

I'm going to piggyback here and say I have a similar issue - at least as far as what as been described. I have followed the steps exactly from the upgrade.txt, a video tutorial, from the O'Reilly book I have, etc.

My situation is moving from 6.4 to 6.13. I've been putting this off for quite some time. I know mine isn't updating because once all is done and I run the status report it still says I am running version 6.4.

My only guess is that there's something in the sites folder I'm copying over to the new installation that I shouldn't be. I think I am probably reaching at this point.

Oh, and it's hosted at godaddy if they are known for some sort of problems. Chances are I'm doing something silly and not realizing it.

Thanks for any help in advance.

i'm upgrading from 6.10 to 6.13, i've upgraded within 6x before with no problems but this is the 4th attempt and i'm having the same problem. drupal keeps saying i'm still using 6.10. everything is the same as the guy above, there are no updates and no errors.

This is tough since about 25% of the threads in here have the same name. This thread might help you guys out.

Apparently the admin_menu module can cause some problems with updating. I downloaded the latest admin_menu and it still didn't work for me. Although instead of telling me I was in need of an update right away or after running cron, it made me wait until I had checked manually to tell me I was out of date. The drupal version at the top of my screen continues to say 6.4.

I read the changelog.txt and anywhere else I could think to look and they all say 6.13, but the site continues to think it is 6.4.

I tried just jumping to version 6.5 and had the same problem.

Hope that one thread helps someone.

It sounds like you are missing something. Upgrading to 6.13 involves a database change for the forum module so if you upgraded and ran the update.php and nothing happened I would say your upgrade was not successful.

Can you check /admin/reports/updates? Do you get a check mark for up to date?

If you are running admin_menu I know there are some issues with that I would upgrade to the newest release and try your upgrade again.
