Issue Summary
I've found your user selectable role module to be incredibly useful. I wonder if it would be possible to allow the placement of the role selection dropdown in a more prominent place than buried on the account? I'd like to make it easier for my users to select their role, as it changes the content that they are permitted to see.

This is perfectly doable, but I don't think this feature would have enough wide appeal to warrant the effort.
I'm willing to take it on as a fee for service project though.

Any chance this would be incorporated in a new release? I'm looking forward to this feature too!

The existing 5.x/6.x branches of User-Selectable Roles have reached the end of their life cycle and no additional features will be added.
