It would help conversion a lot if table name changes were flagged:

"node_revisions" is now "node_revision"
"vocabulary" is now "taxonomy_vocabulary"

This has already been implemented. Please don't open any tickets about D6 to D7 review changes - there's just too many to open a ticket for each! We're actively working on these.
