What a terrific module! I'd really like to use it for a social application. Can it plot y values that I would provide? Or does it just stack the y values? Say for any one point in time I have a bunch of values between say 900 to 905, then for the next period I have the values are between 904 to 908 then 890 to 902 and so on. They wouldn't be equidistance apart but rather at the exact location within a significance value of two decimals 12345.12.

Is the current implimentation equidistance stacked? Is there a way to tweak it to plot what I explained? If so, that would be awesome because this interactive timeline display is just fantanstic.

Unfortunately this is a timeline and provides functionality described here: http://www.simile-widgets.org/timeline
It is deeply connected to show time information. And for now there is no plan to think about these kind of features. Sorry.
