After a recent upgrade to PHP5, the comment module has disappeared. I'm no longer able to install the module on the modules screen nor use any of the configuration pages. I've checked several times to ensure the module files are all fresh versions of the 6.13 code.

Resolved by moving comment module to /sites/all/modules
